Heavy series MD model column boom systems produced by 2K WELDING have high transportation services in harsh environmental conditions. MD column booms with a boom tip pay load capacity of 220 kg are widely used in industries such as pressure vessels, pipes and wind turbines. As the boom is equipped with bidirectional welding systems (for example, one end of the boom is submerged arc (SAW) and the other end is gas metal arc (MIG/MAG)), it can also be used with unidirectional welding systems. 2K WELDING MD model Column Boom systems are generally used by Submerged Submerged (SAW) welding method. flux recovery , heating and flux feedback systems, which are specially usually produces for submerged arc welding, are integrated into MD model column boom systems.

Moreover; Thanks to the ONE POINT CONTROL (OPR) system developed by 2K WELDING and designed to perform welding with a safe, faster and user-friendly interface without the operator’s column boom system at the boom end and without welding machine control, it can be equipped with systems that can guarantee welding radiograph test (RT) . Thanks to the OPR system, ARC CONTROL (the system that allows to guarantee the RT ), working with a unique software, control of the peripheral units of the column boom (rotator, positioner, etc.), recording the wps parameters, changing the parameters of the welding machine, etc. It can be done via the touch screen.

Important note: Column heights vary according to the diameter of the work piece to be welded. Special production can be made by 2K WELDING by taking the heights under the cranes in the factories as a reference.
